Jojo
 
Even though he can be a ball of energy at times, Jojo offers a nice balance between playful and calm. This 1-year-old boxer mix came to us when his owner was deployed overseas. He ’s a happy boy who gives a terrific full-body wag to everyone he meets. Jojo is quick to give and receive affection from strangers and he loves to play fetch. He also sits nicely on command and we believe that he will pick up new manners quickly. Jojo is a “level 1” dog and will be appropriate for owners of any experience level. We recommend that he go to a home with children at least 4 years of age and older. Jojo’s previous owner said that he is housebroken but sometimes has accidents when left alone. We recommend that his new family put him on a manageable schedule from the start with frequent walks, training time, and fun games.

 

Angel
Angel is a 2-year-old white Persian. She was brought to the shelter because her previous guardian was having financial issues. Angel is currently in foster care, but is available for adoption. Her foster mom reports that she is friendly, affectionate, and chatty. Angel is very playful and is a social eater. She greatly enjoys having her chin and face rubbed. Angel is guarded around young children, but is fine with older children. She seems most comfortable in a quiet, stable environment. Angel is not fond of other cats so would prefer to be the only cat in her new home.
