#1 – Who are you and what is your favorite cuisine?
Owner and Chef of Fontaine Caffe & Creperie, I enjoy all types of cuisine, especially if they are cooked simply and I can taste the ingredients.

#2 – Where are you from?
Originally from Korea, grew up in Oklahoma, studied at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and moved to the DC metro area about twelve years ago. Worked at Galileo, Ritz Carlton, Teatro Goldoni, and Marriott restaurants.

#3 – Why did you choose to become a Chef?
I don’t see myself as a Chef, but as a businesswoman. I started working in a restaurant at a very young age and feel in love with the business.

#4 – What do you like the most about this business?
The thing I like the most about this business is the craziness, it’s never boring, and you always have to adapt.

#5 – What is your goal at this restaurant?
Introduce people to Authentic French Crepes and for people to take time to enjoy their meal and company of friends and family.
