Treat the woman who took care of you to a tour of the Apothecary, which took care of Alexandrians with its medicinal herbs and botanicals! See the outstanding collection of shop furnishings, apothecary bottles and equipment, many still in their original location. The Apothecary, which first opened in 1792, is pleased to offer free tours on Mother’s Day for all visiting mothers! Tour times are 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Cost $4 for all other adults and $2 for children (ages 11-17).
