Danny Simmavong, Master Sushi Chef at Flying Fish Seafood Restaurant. My specialty is international cuisine like Japanese, American, Thai, Laos and European, which I've prepared for sixteen years.
2. Where Are You From?
Laos to Virginia. Traditionally trained at Matuba Restaurant in Arlington by Chef/Owner Yasu and Yamanaka Kiyoshi, Executive Chef.
3. Where Have You Been?
Laos, Japan, Thailand, New York, Maryland and Virginia.
4. Where Are You Going?
To own my own Sushi restaurant.
5. What is Your Goal at this Restaurant?
To keep the traditional quality of my intensive sushi training in an exploding market where other chefs are taking too many short cuts.
