Digital City Kiosks Partners with Alexandria

Digital City Kiosks, the leading provider of digital content in the Metro area has partnered with the Alexandria Convention and Visitors Association (ACVA) to provide content on their kiosks located at Alexandria hotels, and a new kiosk to be located at the Alexandria Visitors Center at Ramsay House by April 1. The deal also includes reduced advertising rates for ACVA member businesses to reach visitors throughout the City of Alexandria and the region. “This kiosk will help our marketing reach by providing comprehensive information to include both cultural and historic attractions,” said ACVA Executive Director, Stephanie Brown. “The power of the kiosk will allow us to update information and better connect tourism with our visitors,” continued Brown.

“The kiosks will also allow Alexandria businesses to run ads at a very affordable rate,” said Digital City partner, Greg Askew, “We will be able to provide a small ad for businesses or increase their market saturation by providing a 45 second video of their business.” “Local businesses like Nina’s Dandy and Shooter McGee’s restaurant have already had great success with our other kiosks,” said Askew. With over forty kiosks in hotels in Washington, D.C., Alexandria, and Arlington, Digital City Kiosks looks to increase their presence with this valuable partnership. “With our recent association with the Old Town Crier and their online version oldtowncrier.com, I feel that we can give our clients across-the-board resources to reach their target market through advertising,” said Askew.
